چکیده
Abstract Ninebark ( Physocarpus opulifolius ) is an attractive ornamental shrub with poor rooting characteristics in some cultivars, which a limiting factor commercial production This study was designed to optimize conditions of ninebark cuttings and observe the effect exogenous auxin IBA on morpho-anatomical biochemical changes associated rhizogenesis vitro conditions. Both auxins under study: indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) 1-naphthalene acetic (NAA) gave comparable effects but combination ½ MS + 1 mg·L −1 most cost effective for all parameters. Anatomical at cuttings’ bases during root formation were typical woody plants they accelerated by culture medium. High levels endogenous indole hydrogen peroxide temporarily intensive cell divisions cuttings, polyphenolic contents kept increasing above initial those controls.

The effect of the biostimulator Goteo on the rooting of ninebark stem cuttings
As a consequence of restrictions on the use of preparations containing synthetic auxins in nursery production, there is a necessity to replace them with more environmentally friendly biopreparations efficiently stimulating plant growth. The aim of the presented experiment was to compare the effects of the synthetic auxin indole3-butyric acid (IBA) and the biostimulator Goteo on the rooting of n...
متن کاملRelation between leaf and stem biochemical constituents and rooting ability of olive cuttings
The relationships between rooting potential with endogenous phenolic compounds, nitrogen and soluble carbohydrates of cuttings for five olive cultivars (‘Rowghani’, ‘Dusti’, ‘Tokhmekabki’, ‘Konservalia’ and ‘Amigdalolia’) were investigated. Extracts of the leaves and the base of the cuttings were used for analysis of biochemical compounds. Results showed that there were significant differences ...
متن کاملGenetic variation in rooting ability of loblolly pine cuttings: effects of auxin and family on rooting by hypocotyl cuttings.
After about 20 days, hypocotyl cuttings from 20-day-old loblolly pine (Pinus taeda L.) seedlings rooted easily in the presence of the auxin indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), with roots forming directly from xylem parenchyma. In contrast, woody cuttings from 1-2-year-old hedged seedlings formed roots indirectly from callus tissue in 60-90 days, but IBA had little effect on rooting. Variation in rooti...
متن کاملProteomic Analysis through Adventitious Rooting of Pinus radiata Stem Cuttings with Different Rooting Capabilities
In forest production systems, vegetative propagation of elite clones through adventitious rooting is a common practice. In Chile, adventitious rooting is the main methodology for vegetative reproduction of Pinus radiata. However, the capability of produce adventitious roots in gymnosperms decreases with aging. While it is true that some efforts have been made to identify markers or/and regulato...
متن کاملBiochemical changes associated with flower development in mini potted carnation
The present investigation was undertaken to determine the biochemical changes associated with flower development during the flowering season in the potted carnation cultivars of ‘Lilac on purple’ and ‘Pink’. Ethylene production and the 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC) content of the flowers were observed to increase up to stage 5 (during the five stage of flow...
